The Great Commission is our mission as believers. We have opportunities for mission trips locally and Internationally.
Local Missions
Our church is a member of The Winston County Baptist Association. New Prospect Baptist along with 38 other churches in our county, serving our Lord together. Our Association has an annual mission trip each year to do construction, VBS, local missions in an area decided by our missions committee.
International Missions
Our church has been in partnership with several churches in Romania for the past 20 years. Many church buildings have been built along with many pastors and missionaries supported.

Our ladies are involved in many mission projects locally as well as supporting Annie Armstrong, Myers - Mallory and The Lottie Moon Christmas offerings. These special offerings help support our NAMB, State and IMB missionaries across our world.
Mission
Living the Great Commission — Across the Street and Around the World
At New Prospect Baptist Church, missions are at the heart of who we are. We believe that every follower of Christ is called to live out the Great Commission—to go and make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19–20).
Our church is actively involved in supporting and serving both locally and globally. We are committed to meeting real needs in our community through outreach, school partnerships, and hands-on service projects. Whether it’s supporting local families, encouraging our educators, or responding to needs in our town, we believe in being the hands and feet of Jesus right here in Haleyville.
Beyond our local efforts, we also participate in mission trips across the country and internationally, giving our members the opportunity to share the love of Christ in practical ways—through evangelism, construction, children's ministry, disaster relief, and more.
These trips challenge and inspire us as we partner with others to reach people for Christ across cultures and borders.
We support missions prayerfully, financially, and personally through offerings such as the Annie Armstrong, Myers-Mallory, and Lottie Moon offerings, as well as through direct participation and encouragement of missionaries.
