Children’s Ministry
Our church is committed to helping children grow in their love for God through age appropriate teaching, worship, and activities. We offer several opportunities each week for kids to learn, sing, and have fun while building a strong foundation of faith.
At New Prospect Baptist Church, our Children’s Ministry is a joyful and nurturing place where kids in Kindergarten through 6th Grade grow in their love for Jesus and learn the truths of God’s Word.
We meet each Sunday morning for fun, age-appropriate Bible lessons that help children build a strong spiritual foundation. Our Children’s Choir lifts their voices in worship and shares special music with the congregation on the fourth Sunday of every month, reminding us all of the beauty of childlike faith.
The fun and fellowship continue midweek as our children gather again on for engaging activities, lessons, and fellowship designed to help them grow in their walk with Christ.
Our goal is to help every child know that they are loved by God and have a special place in His family!
Children’s Choir
A great way for kids to use their voices for the Lord! Children learn songs of faith, practice musical skills, and prepare to share in worshipon the fourth Sunday of each month.
Wednesday Night Bible Study – 6:30 PM
Midweek Bible study provides a fun, interactive time where kids dive into God’s Word through stories, games, and activities that help them understand and apply biblical truths.
Children’s Church – Sundays at 10:30 AM
(Kindergarten through 6th grade) Children’s Church meets every Sunday morning in the Old Sanctuary. Kids worship together, hear a Bible lesson, and participate in activities designed just for them.
Our Children’s Ministry Directors, Cheryl Mills and Kayla Thomas, are passionate about teaching children and creating a safe, welcoming environment where every child can grow in their relationship with Jesus.
We believe that children are a vital part of our church family, and we are excited to partner with parents to help kids know Christ, love His Word, and live out their faith in daily life.
